Having written about healthy options at the Starbucks stores a few days ago, I did not want to offend anybody by forgetting about some of the good choices available at Dunkin Donuts. I have to admit that I used to be a skeptic until about a month ago. After being stuck in traffic on a road trip to Long Island, we pulled over at a local Dunkin Donuts only to be pleasantly surprised by the recent additions to the menu. Read more…

MWL correlates with the industry standard - Body Mass Index ( http://www.cdc.gov/healthyweight/assessing/bmi/), but the formula has been simplified and can be calculated without using graphs or calculators. Among them, a Mini Sparkle Doughnut, which has 120 calories, 6 grams of fat, 150 mg of sodium, 1 gram of protein, and 16 grams of carbohydrates; a bite-sized Petite Vanilla Bean Scone, which weighs in at 140 calories, 5 grams of fat, 90 mg sodium, 0 grams of protein, and 21 grams of carbohydrates; and Starbucks Dark Chocolate, which has 180 calories, 12 grams of fat, 45 mg of sodium, 2 grams of protein, and 18 grams of carbohydrates.
